THE NEW CENTRAL OFFICE IS OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

What a difference it has made to move into our new office. It has been
a long wait but well worth it.

The progression of the
Central Office this past winter.

Since 2006 BCS was housed
at Twin Oaks Drive.  Who can
forget the open air offices and
not having to use an intercom
system? You just had to
listen to know if someone was
in the office and yell out their
names.

The Fire at Buckeye Community Services
Feb. 18, 2006  by Cecilia Baker

When I got the call on that icy, cold Saturday that BCS was on fire, I
left my home in a panic.  I only lived a few blocks from the office and
as I ran there I kept watching the skyline to see if I'd see flames
licking the air.  Instead I saw rolling smoke in the sky and as I
rounded the corner, the reality of the situation hit me as I saw the fire
engines, firemen, and a photographer off to the side taking pictures.

As I stood there, I noticed the BCS Central Office staff in an area off
to the side.  We were all in a state of shock as we stared helplessly
and knew we could do nothing else but watch the firemen fight the
blaze in the office.

To give you an idea of how bad it was at our office located on Pearl
Street, here are some photos.  The following photos from left to right:
Jorji's office; the Front Office; Robin's office, Connie's office and
lastly, the Conference Room.
